This episode is dominated by music from Europe, highlighted new recordings by Belgian violinist Cécile Broché and French pianists Andy Emler (with trio and his MegaOctet) and Bruno Angelini, Belgian saxophonist Jordi Grognard, German drummer Max Andrzejewicz, and two long time residents of Europe, pianist Izumi Kimura from Japan now living in Ireland joined in an amazing duo with American-born drummer Gerry Hemingway who’s been a resident of Switzerland for many years. From the USA, you’ll hear Ember, a trio featuring saxophonist Caleb Wheeler Curtis and the duo of pianist Zack Clarke and drummer Alex Louloulis (from Greece). Lots more too, as always.
