European artists abound in this edition of OMJ, highlighted by new releases from powerhouse saxophonist Rodrigo Amado from Portugal who’s backed by an outstanding trio of Norwegians, Luca Perciballi and Francesco Baiguera– two rather experimental guitarists from Italy, Finnish saxophonist Pepa Paivinen, and the duo of German pianist Gunter “Baby” Sommer and Italian pianist Fabrizio Puglisi.
