This is the second part of the retrospective/tribute/celebration of Clean Feed Records which has ceased releasing albums after 25 years. Their music has been an important component of programming on One Man’s Jazz over the years, so I felt it was important to acknowledge their work and the artists who graced the playlists. Like last week’s show, the music was selected randomly, but as there was in the previous show, there are two specific sets, one for Canadian artists and one for Scandinavian artists who were released by Clean Feed. A good deal of their catalog is available for digital purchases at bandcamp.com. To all the artists, Pedro and the crew at Clean Feed, and to their amazing designers, thank you, thank you, thank you! Clean Feed made programming One Man’s Jazz a joy. I’m gonna miss you, but I have a lot of amazing music that’s going to be around for a long time.
