This one’s about Jack. Jack DeJohnette. Amazing drummer, pianist, composer, bandleader, man. Loved by so many. He died on October 26th but his music and influence never will die. His passing really hit me hard as it did many others. Some of my most memorable live musical experiences include Jack. His name is everywhere in my record collection and perhaps yours.
I wanted to play only music featuring Jack, but Mixcloud has rules, so I worked around them as best I can, plus there are more shows to come, so…. DeJohnette it will be!
